Welcome to my Blog

What can you expect from this blog? Many things indeed! Lately, I have been sharing things in the category of: Lessons Learned.

However, I do intend to share different aspects of everything. What is everything?

  • Cultures. Cultures is such an interesting subject for me because everybody has a different culture from the other person sitting next to them in class, or in the train, or in the cubicle next to them. This includes, their language, their food, their humble beginnings.
  • The art of teaching. Teaching is so fundamental in everyday life. If no one taught, no one would know anything. Getting tips from a makeup artist, learning a recipe, understanding a bible scripture, all these things come about because they were taught.
  • Travel. A friend once shared something from Henry Rollins that said something like this: “I beg young people to travel. If you don’t have a passport, get one. Take a summer, get a backpack and go to Delhi, go to Saigon, go to Bangkok, go to Kenya. Have your mind blown, eat interesting food, dig some interesting people, have an adventure, be careful. Come back and you’re going to see your country differently, you’re going to see your president differently, no matter who it is.”  The best part of what Henry Rollins wrote, and what I agree with 100% is: “And so there are lessons that you can’t get out of a book that are waiting for you at the other end of that flight.” I hope to share some of those lessons I learn from my travels with you through my blog.

So, this is my list so far. I hope you will enjoy what’s to come.
